We will chat virtually, by phone, or in person. Ask me any questions and I'll let you know how I may help. Together we will make a workable plan for your particular situation.
We'll categorise your things into items to keep, donate, repair, sell or throw away. I want you to end up only with those things that you love, use and need. I'll advise you, but of course, all final decisions are yours. It can be an emotional process, but I'll support, guide and help you.
I'll provide you with suggestions as to how to systemise what is left, so that things can remain organised. I'll provide lots of advice and tips for removing your unwanted items - I have contacts for people and charities who can remove items. I'll write you a detailed Project Log with the tips and links you'll need for success. Some clients also choose to book maintenance visits.
Not at all. My aim is simply to make your rooms work better for you. I've been in lots of houses and my only concern is ensuring the space flows nicely for you by the time I've finished. And please don't tidy up before I arrive! There's just no need. I offer a non-judgemental and sensitive service. Life gets on top of all of us at times. Remember, I'm here to help you.
No. I'll help you make good decisions about what to keep and what to discard. I'll guide you and give you my thoughts, but the final decisions are always yours.
Yes. I am experienced with working with people who are neurodiverse and the specialised support that they need. People with ADHD can find it especially challenging to keep their space decluttered and organised. I can also help you sort out your papers and get more organised and systemised in other ways that may be of use. Contact me and we can chat about what may help you the most.
No, it won't be a problem. I will discuss with you what you want to do with each item and I will move the items around as needed. The only thing I can't do is move heavy furniture by myself. So if you're elderly, unwell, infirm or disabled, I am here to help.
No. Decluttering is quite emotionally draining. I have found that four hours in the sweet spot. After that decision fatigue sets in. Four hours is a good amount of time to see a real difference. So, instead, you can book me for multiple visits on different days, i.e. if you've got a bigger project.
Contact me anyway as I can likely help you online.
No. We will try to utilise what you already have. You'd be surprised what we find as we go. Only when we've decluttered can you really see if you need to buy any storage containers, turntables etc. I can advise you on what would work nicely in your space as we go along, i.e. as we start to assess your space and requirements. I'll create a detailed Project Log for you with all the suggested links to items you can buy from Amazon etc.
Yes please! Photos or a video sent in advance are really helpful.
It is different everytime. For some people, making decisions and letting go is a quick and easy process. For others it is very emotionally difficult. No matter which personality you are, I'll guide and support you.
